Join the Engagement, Recognition, and Wellness (ERW) team for Emotional Wellness Week: Building Resilience at Work and Beyond, a three-day series designed to help faculty and staff better understand stress, develop healthy coping strategies, and build resilience both at work and in everyday life. Participants are welcome to attend one, two, or all three sessions. Monday, September 28 | Lunch & Learn Stress Happens: Managing What We Bring to Work and What Work Brings to Us Presenter: Cynthia Nance, Nathan G. Gordon Professor of Law and Former Dean, University of Arkansas School of Law. Stress is part of life and it doesn't always stay neatly separated between work and home. This session explores how external and workplace stress can intersect, how stress affects the way we respond to everyday situations, and practical strategies for building resilience and creating healthier workplaces. Location: ARKU 403, Multicultural Center Classroom Tuesday, September 29 | Interactive Workshop Healthy Coping Strategies for Work and Life Presenters: Margie Pemu and Amy Ference, Mental Health Clinicians, Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) Explore healthy coping strategies through an engaging adventure therapy-style workshop designed to promote resilience, self-awareness, and emotional well-being. Location: ARKU 511 Wednesday, September 30 | Lunch & Learn EAP Services, Stress Management & Resilience Presenter: Samara "Sam" Duckworth, Clinical Director, Arkansas Employee Assistance Program Learn about confidential Employee Assistance Program services available to faculty and staff, including counseling resources, stress management tools, and strategies for building resilience. Location: ARKU 403, Multicultural Center Classroom Lunch Information Registered participants will receive a pink sheet number for each session they attend.
