How long are the Big Sugar Gravel courses?

101.8 miles with about 6,400 feet of climbing, 58 miles with about 3,500 feet, or 31.3 miles with about 1,500 feet. The race calls it loose, rocky, rarely maintained gravel with a few paved sections and water crossings; the 100-mile route crosses into Missouri, with an aid station in Pineville at mile 40.

How much is Big Sugar Gravel registration?

As posted Oct 9, 2026: $100 for 25 miles, $180 for 50 and $225 for 100. Racers must pick up packets in person with photo ID at the Momentary on Thursday, Oct 15 (1–7 PM) or Friday, Oct 16 (11 AM–6 PM).

Where can I watch Big Sugar Gravel?

At the start and finish at the Momentary, where the finish festival runs from the morning until the finish line closes in the evening. Are roads closed for Big Sugar Gravel?

The course runs on roads that stay open to traffic, and riders must follow Arkansas and Missouri bike laws. The City of Bentonville hadn't posted any Big Sugar street closures as of Oct 9, so expect riders on the rural roads north toward Pea Ridge and Missouri on Saturday morning.

Is the Big Sugar expo free?

Yes. The gravel expo at the Momentary is open Thursday, Oct 15, 1–7 PM and Friday, Oct 16, 11 AM–6 PM, with 100-plus exhibitors, food trucks, live music and a Sprockids kids' scavenger hunt and skills course.

Is Big Sugar Gravel part of the Life Time Grand Prix?

Yes, it's the season's last race. The 100-mile pays a $30,000 purse split evenly between men and women, and the Grand Prix champions are crowned at the Gravel Rave that night.
