1. What we provide

NWA Today is a free local events newsletter and website for Northwest Arkansas, with guides, a business and pros directory, and labeled sponsored content. We may change, pause, or discontinue any part of it.

2. Event and listing accuracy

We check events and listings before we publish them, but dates, times, prices, and availability change. Always confirm with the venue or organizer before you go. NWA Today does not sell tickets, run events, or perform services listed in the directory, and we are not responsible for third-party events, venues, businesses, or websites we link to.

3. Directory and pros listings

A directory listing does not endorse or guarantee a business’s work. Do your own research before you hire anyone. We decide what we list and may decline or remove a listing at any time. Some categories are not eligible, including real estate, mortgage, and lending.

4. Sponsored content and paid placements

• Paid placements are always labeled “Sponsored” or “Advertisement.” Payment never affects our editorial picks.
• Advertisers must provide accurate information and have the right to use any text, images, logos, and links they submit. By submitting, you give us permission to publish and lightly edit that material for length and accuracy. We will ask before changing its meaning.
• We review every placement before it runs and may decline any submission. If we decline a paid placement before it runs, we refund it in full.
• Placement details, run dates, and prices are shown on the relevant page (for example, /advertise or /holiday-gift-guide). Payments are processed by Stripe. Unless the offer says otherwise, a placement cannot be refunded once it has run.
• After a campaign we may report total clicks to the advertiser. We never share subscribers’ personal information with advertisers.

5. Your submissions

When you submit an event, venue, tip, or other content, you confirm it is accurate and that you have the right to share it. You give NWA Today a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to publish, edit, and share it in the newsletter, on the site, and on our social channels.

6. Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the site. That means no spam, no automated scraping or bulk submissions, no attempts to get around spam protection, no false or misleading listings, and no interference with the site’s operation.

7. Our content

NWA Today’s original writing, design, and compilations belong to NWA Today. You’re welcome to share links and short quotes with credit. Please don’t republish whole issues or guides without permission.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The site and newsletter are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, NWA Today is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for any loss that comes from relying on event or listing information. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us, if anything, in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts serving Benton County, Arkansas.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. If you keep using NWA Today after a change, you accept the updated terms.
