Quick answers

How much is the Crescent Hotel ghost tour?
$29.50 plus tax for the 60-minute tour, as posted Oct 8, 2026; children 12 and under are $15 at the 6:30 and 7 PM tours. The 90-minute expert tour is $35, the midnight investigation $39.50, and the kids' tour $15 for a child plus a guardian.
Do I need to book a Eureka Springs ghost tour ahead?
In October, yes. The Crescent says its tours regularly sell out, and on Oct 8 the Friday 6 PM Crescent tour and Saturday 9 PM Basin Park hunt were already gone. Crescent and Basin Park tickets are non-refundable.
Which Eureka Springs ghost tours are OK for kids?
The Crescent's kids' tour (ages 5–12, 45 minutes), the Haunted Eureka Springs walking tour (all ages), the Melonlight's comedy walk (family-friendly, mild language) and the museum's cemetery walk. The Crescent's regular tour is 8+ per its FAQ; the midnight hunts are for adults.
Why is the Crescent Hotel called haunted?
It opened in 1886 as a resort, was Crescent College for women in 1908–1924 and 1929–1933, and in 1937 was bought by Norman Baker, who ran a cancer "hospital" there until his 1940 mail-fraud conviction (Encyclopedia of Arkansas). The hotel bills itself as America's Most Haunted Hotel; its tours tell the ghost stories.
Is there a ghost tour that doesn't involve much walking?
Eureka Rocket's ghost tour rides in a low-speed street vehicle ($59, with pickup at most hotels), and the Melonlight's Thursday version of its walk is seated indoors. The Crescent tours stay inside the hotel.
Is Walk With Eureka a ghost tour?
No. Its Death & Debauchery True Crime Walk (Fridays and Saturdays at 2 PM, September–December, ages 13+) bills itself as "no ghosts, just ghastly."
