Indoor things to do in Northwest Arkansas

Where to go in NWA when it's raining, freezing or 98 degrees: bowling, roller and ice skating, a trampoline park, climbing gyms, indoor go-karts, arcades, an escape room, kids' play spaces, two free art museums and the movie theaters. 23 places, with hours and prices from each one's own site as of Oct 8, 2026. When a place doesn't post a price, we say so instead of guessing. Grouped by type, then by town; nobody paid to be here.

Orange pins and badges are open this weekend, from each place's posted schedule.

On the calendar

Verified events for the season, updated every night.

Call ahead

These come up in older roundups, but nothing official confirms a 2026 season yet.

  • Fast Lane Entertainment (Lowell). The bowling, laser tag and indoor-coaster center's old website is now a parked domain, so we couldn't confirm 2026 hours or prices. Call before you drive.
  • Altitude Trampoline Park (Fayetteville). Its Fayetteville page loads with no address or hours, and the chain's Arkansas list shows no parks. We couldn't confirm it's open.
  • Ozark Climbing Gym (Springdale). Its website returns an error and posts no hours.
  • Arkadia Retrocade (Fayetteville). The retro arcade's website doesn't load; no current hours or price posted.
  • Axe throwing. Ozark Axe House's site now advertises mobile axe throwing (a trailer that comes to you) rather than a venue, and Urban Forest Axe House's web address no longer resolves. We couldn't confirm an open axe-throwing venue.
  • Other escape rooms. Ozark Escape's web address shows a dead Wix page. NWA Escape Room (above) is the one we could confirm.
  • AMC Fiesta Square (Fayetteville). AMC's site blocked our check, so it isn't listed; showtimes are on amctheatres.com.
  • Siloam Springs & Bella Vista. We found no indoor entertainment venue in either town with a current website to check against.

Quick answers

What is there to do inside in Bentonville when it rains?
Crystal Bridges and the Momentary are free (Crystal Bridges is closed Tuesdays, the Momentary Mondays). The Amazeum is $14 online for kids' hands-on play. Climb Bentonville's day pass is $26 with gear, Great Day Skate Place is $7 plus $3 rental, the Community Center pool has a lazy river and slides ($7 residents, $10 everyone else), and Skylight Cinema shows first-run movies with dine-in service.
Where can kids skate in NWA?
Ice: the Jones Center in Springdale, $8 plus $4 rental, with public skate Tuesday through Sunday. Roller: Starlight Skatium in Fayetteville ($7 afternoons, $10 nights; Thursday night is 18+) and Great Day Skate Place in Bentonville ($7 plus $3 rental; Tue, Thu, Fri, Sat and Sun sessions in October 2026).
Is there an indoor water park in Northwest Arkansas?
We didn't find a dedicated indoor water park. The closest thing is the Bentonville Community Center's indoor leisure pool, with a lazy river, a zero-entry play area and slides (day pass $7 for residents, $10 for non-residents). The Jones Center in Springdale also has public swim in its two pools Friday–Sunday for $6.
Is there a trampoline park in NWA?
Yes: Sky Zone in Rogers, 4699 S Dixieland Rd (the old DEFY Rogers web address now goes to it). A 120-minute ticket is $24.99, and it has a ninja warrior course, dodgeball and a Drop Zone. We couldn't confirm that Altitude in Fayetteville is still open.
Where can you go bowling in NWA?
Ozark Lanes in Fayetteville (40 lanes, $30–$35 a lane hour, shoes $5) and Rogers Bowling Center (28 lanes with bumpers, $5 a game weekday afternoons, $30–$35 a lane hour after that). Fast Lane in Lowell's old website is now a parked domain, so call before you go.
Where is indoor go-karting in Northwest Arkansas?
K1 Speed at 2107 W Walnut St in Rogers: electric karts, $27.99 a race plus an $8.50 annual license. Juniors need to be 48 inches tall, adults 58. Lokomotion in Fayetteville has go-karts too, but its tracks are outdoors.
