Things to do in Fayetteville

Fayetteville is home to the University of Arkansas and is Mile 0 of the 40-mile Razorback Regional Greenway, which starts at Kessler Mountain Regional Park. Most of the town's stage shows and live music sit on or near Dickson Street (Walton Arts Center, TheatreSquared, and George's Majestic Lounge, serving since 1927), a short walk from the Downtown Square, where the Fayetteville Farmers' Market sets up and where Lights of the Ozarks runs each holiday season.

Dickson Street
The downtown entertainment district: Walton Arts Center and George's Majestic Lounge are both on West Dickson, with TheatreSquared nearby at 477 West Spring Street. Adults 21+ can carry drinks in designated cups inside the Outdoor Refreshment Area with a wristband from a partner business.
Historic Downtown Square
Home of the Fayetteville Farmers' Market and the Experience Fayetteville Visitors Center (public restroom, water refill station, maps). From Nov. 20, 2026 through Jan. 1, 2027 it carries the free Lights of the Ozarks display, more than 500,000 LED lights on nightly 5 p.m. to 1 a.m.
The Ramble
The city's Cultural Arts Corridor along West Avenue between Dickson and Prairie streets, completed in 2024. The Civic Plaza has a central lawn, promenade and art gardens, and Fay Jones Woods adds accessible trails and a boardwalk.
