Breweries in Northwest Arkansas

The 20 NWA breweries we could confirm are open, with taproom hours, food, and kid and dog rules from each brewery's own site. When a brewery doesn't say, we leave it blank rather than guess. What's on this week at each taproom (trivia, live music, releases) is at the bottom, straight from our calendar. No brewery paid to be here.

Orange pins and badges are open this weekend, from each place's posted schedule.

The essentials

The Fayetteville Ale Trail

How it works
Pick up a free passport at any stop (or request one by mail), get a stamp with a purchase at each, and bring the finished passport to the Fayetteville Visitors Center, 21 S Block Ave, for a free prize.
Stops
Columbus House, Crisis, Fayetteville Beer Works, Flyway, Fossil Cove, Mad Rooster, Puritan and West Mountain (Goat Lab Red is listed as closed)
Heads up
The old 24-stop NWA-wide passport is gone; the current trail is Fayetteville only.

Verified events for the season, updated every night.

Call ahead

These come up in older roundups, but nothing official confirms a 2026 season yet.

  • Core Brewing & Distilling (Springdale). Its website is now the Scarlet Letter seltzer brand and posts no taproom hours; Core also runs a taproom at XNA.
  • terracotta (Greenhouse Aleworks), Bentonville. Greenhouse's beer is poured here while its Rogers taproom is temporarily closed; hours aren't posted.
  • Black Apple Hard Cider (Springdale). Arkansas's first cidery posts current hours at 321 E Emma Ave, but one listing shows it closed, so call before you go.
  • West Mountain Brewing (Fayetteville square). An Ale Trail stop, but its website doesn't load and it posts no hours.
  • Closed. Ivory Bill (Siloam Springs), Saddlebock, Boston Mountain, Tanglewood Branch, Goat Lab Red and Apple Blossom (now Flyway) are closed, whatever older lists say.

Quick answers

How many breweries are in Northwest Arkansas?
We confirmed 20 open brewery taprooms in September 2026: six in Fayetteville, five in Rogers, four in Bentonville, and one each in Lowell, Gentry, Elkins, plus two in Eureka Springs. Older lists include several that have closed.
What breweries are in Fayetteville, AR?
Fossil Cove, Crisis, Columbus House, Fayetteville Beer Works, Mad Rooster and Flyway (in the old Apple Blossom building). Most are stops on the Fayetteville Ale Trail passport.
Which NWA breweries are dog-friendly?
Per each brewery: Fossil Cove, Crisis, Columbus House, Natural State (patio), Rendezvous Junction, Bentonville Brewing (fenced dog run), Bike Rack, Gotahold, GOAT Lab and Orthodox Farmhouse. Leashes required.
Is there still an NWA Ale Trail passport?
Yes, as the Fayetteville Ale Trail: collect a stamp with a purchase at each Fayetteville stop and bring the passport to the visitors center at 21 S Block Ave for a free prize. The old 24-stop NWA-wide version is gone.
Which brewery is on the Razorback Greenway?
Natural State Beer Company in Rogers says it sits lakeside right on the Greenway at Village on the Creeks. Columbus House in Fayetteville says it's just off the bike trail.
