Public pools & splash pads in Northwest Arkansas

It's October, so the city outdoor pools and splash pads are closed until summer 2027. Three indoor pools take the public this fall: the Bentonville Community Center ($7 residents, $10 non-residents), the Jones Center in Springdale ($6, free on Oct 11, Nov 8 and Dec 13) and the Boys & Girls Club in Fayetteville. Below them: Wilson Park Pool and the other city pools, the splash pads and the state-park pools, with what each has posted about 2027, which so far is almost nothing. Hours and prices as posted by each city, Arkansas State Parks and the pools themselves on Oct 9, 2026.

Orange pins and badges are open this weekend, from each place's posted schedule.

Call ahead

These come up in older roundups, but nothing official confirms a 2026 season yet.

  • Mount Sequoyah Pool (Fayetteville). A nonprofit's outdoor pool sold by monthly pass ($45 individual, $70 couple, $120 family), with passholder swim times and no lifeguard on duty. It doesn't post its season dates or hours; call 479-443-4531.
  • Prairie Grove Aquatic Park. The city's page blocks automated visits, so we couldn't confirm a season, hours or prices and it isn't listed. Check prairiegrovearkansas.org or call Prairie Grove City Hall before planning a summer visit.
  • Rogers Activity Center. The city's pages list its gym, fitness classes and courts ($10 day pass) but say nothing about a pool. Call 479-631-0336 before going for a swim.
  • Splash pads in Rogers and Springdale. Rogers' city site posts no splash pad seasons or hours, and Springdale's site blocked our check. Call Rogers Parks & Recreation (479-631-3350) or the Springdale Recreation Center (479-750-8185).
  • Bella Vista POA pools. Run by the Bella Vista Property Owners Association, not a city. Its fee page didn't load for us, so we can't say whether non-members can buy a day pass.

Quick answers

When does Wilson Park Pool open?
Not until summer 2027; it's closed for the season and the city hasn't posted a 2027 opening date. Its pool passes cover Memorial Day to Labor Day, and 2027 party reservations open May 1.
How much is Wilson Park Pool?
$3 for ages 14 and under and $4 for adults; kids under 3 are free. Family swim is $8 per family, a 10-visit punch pass is $35, and season passes are $75 for an adult or $135 for a family of 5 (as posted for 2026).
Is there an indoor public pool in Fayetteville, AR?
The city doesn't run one: Wilson Park Pool, outdoors, is Fayetteville's only city pool. The Donald W. Reynolds Boys & Girls Club at 560 N Rupple Rd has a heated indoor pool with family swim Mon–Thu 4:30–7 PM, Fri 4–6 PM and Sat 10 AM–1 PM for members or day-pass holders; call 479-442-9242 for the day-pass price.
Is there a Fayetteville Aquatic Center?
The City of Fayetteville's only pool is Wilson Park Pool at 675 N Park Ave, open in summer. We found no city aquatic center; the nearest city aquatic centers are in Springdale, Rogers and Bentonville.
Where can you swim indoors in NWA in the winter?
Three places sell public swim: the Bentonville Community Center (day pass $7 residents, $10 non-residents; open swim daily), the Jones Center in Springdale ($6; Fri 4:30–8:30 PM, Sat noon–6 PM, Sun 1–5 PM) and the Boys & Girls Club in Fayetteville (membership or day pass).
Is the Rogers Aquatic Center open?
No. The City of Rogers says it's closed for the 2026 season. 2027 dates, hours and prices aren't posted yet; call 479-936-5482.
When do the splash pads open in Fayetteville?
Gulley Park and Walker Park splash pads run from the second Saturday in May to the third Sunday in September, 9 AM–8 PM, so they're off until May 2027. No fee is listed.
Is there free swimming at the Jones Center?
Yes, on Funday Sunday: free swimming 1–5 PM on Oct 11, Nov 8 and Dec 13, 2026. Otherwise public swim is $6, Fri 4:30–8:30 PM, Sat noon–6 PM and Sun 1–5 PM.
