- About an hour and about 4½ miles round trip, narrated by the conductor. A 1928 Chicago, Rock Island & Pacific coach behind a 1940s diesel runs the old Missouri & North Arkansas line north to Junction, Arkansas, and back

- Reservations required. Online sales close an hour before lunch and two hours before dinner; call for later seats. Parties of 7 or more book by phone and pay an included gratuity; otherwise tip isn't included. Dietary requests 24 hours ahead

- The dining car is air-conditioned, and the dining trains aren't narrated. Each train needs a minimum number of riders; if one doesn't run, you get a full refund. Otherwise all sales are final
